The defending African champions come into the encounter in some shaky form, having failed to win their last three Egyptian Premier League encounters.
Pitso Mosimane has come in for a bit of criticism in recent weeks, but they are still two games away from reaching a third successive CAF Champions League final.
Setif overcame Esperance in the previous round and Novic is well aware of the task at hand in Cairo on Saturday night.
“We prepared for the game in Setif, we can’t do everything in Cairo,” Novic said, as per KingFut.
“The game will not be easy. We watched a lot of games, analyzed Al Ahly performance, and discussed the game details.
“We studied Al Ahly and now we are trying to predict how the game will go.”
