An African star, who clashed with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the weekend, has slammed the former Manchester United striker and insisted Cristiano Ronaldo never treated him like the Swede did.
Ibrahimovic clashed with Nigeria defender Nedum Onuoha during LA Galaxy’s 2-1 Major League Soccer (MLS) win over Real Salt Lake, in which the 37-year-old scored the winner.
Their altercation continued inside the dressing room when Ibrahimovic attempted to apologize for his antics on the pitch, but the former Manchester City player was not prepared to accept his excuse.
"No, I think it is fake," Onuoha said, as quoted by Dailystar.
"He still thinks he is better than me as a human being and I don't have time for people like that.
"When I played against Cristiano Ronaldo when he was younger, he'd be a bit temperamental.
"But that was his pure desire to win, not necessarily to disrespect the opponent, which is what I think this guy is doing.
"It seemed like it was me upsetting him more, which is crazy from a guy who will go down as one of the greatest of all time in Europe."

Ibrahimovic’s goal took his tally to eight in seven MLS games so far this season, helping his side to second spot in the MLS table, just one point behind leaders Los Angeles FC with one game in hand.
