Percy Tau has already become a fan favourite at Club Brugge since returning to Belgium last month, and the Bafana Bafana star could be joined at the club by another African star in the coming days.
Club Brugge have been active in the transfer window, having brought in no fewer than eight new signings already. Among the new arrivals are six stars from Africa, including Bafana Bafana golden boy Tau, and the club is reportedly close to signing another star from the continent.
According to the BBC, Brugge are closing in on a £9 million (R167 million) deal to sign Kenya international Victor Wanyama from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
The 28-year-old is reportedly unhappy with the amount of game time he received last season after making just 13 league appearances in the 2018/19 campaign.
Wanyama has seemingly lost his place to Spurs academy graduate Harry Winks, and is expected to be further behind in the pecking order after the club sign Tanguy Ndombele from Olympique Lyon.
The former Celtic and Southampton star has scored seven goals in 93 appearances for Tottenham since joining the Londoners in 2016.
