Congo-Brazzaville 0-0 Angola
Congo-Brazzaville and Angola played to a goalless draw in their final Group D encounter on Wednesday evening.
Congo and Angola both qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition as a result with the former topping the group with seven points while the latter finished on five points.
Burkina Faso 1-1 Cameroon
Cameroon registered their first point in the competition in their 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso on Wednesday evening in Group D.
Patrick Moukoko netted for the Indomitable Lions eight minutes after the break to cancel out Mohamed Sylla's opener three minutes before halftime.
Burkina Faso needed to win and hope Angola defeated Congo in the other Group D match played at the same time but it was not to be as a point was enough to see Congo qualify behind Angola.
As a result, Burkina Faso crashed out of the competition with two points in third place while the Indomitable Lions, who were already eliminated before the encounter, finished last with one point.
