CAF President Patrice Motsepe has revealed who he thinks should win the FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player in the World.

The world football governing body released the various award nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards, with the winners set to be announced on on 17 January 2022.
Bayern Munich and Poland star Robert Lewandowski won the 2020 Best FIFA Men’s Player, beating out competition from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Motsepe, however, is hopeful that Liverpool and Egypt striker Mohamed Salah should the get accolade this year.
“I definitely think Mohamed Salah is the best, I love Messi and Ronaldo too, but I am African so I will be biased here, I am proud of Salah," Motsepe told ONTime Sports TV channel.
“I want to say that Egyptian fans are the best in the world, I came here before with Sundowns, it’s a great country and its people are inspiring.”
Salah is the only African player to have made the final nominees list for the award and will be looking to become the first African to win it.
