The spokesperson for Andre and Jordan Ayew have responded to claims that the brothers have decided to retire after Ghana's disappointing Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
The Black Stars were bundled out in the group stages without winning a single game last week and finishing last in the group.
Coach Milovan Rajevac was relieved of his duties this week following the disappointing results in Cameroon, despite only taking over in September last year.
There were reports that surfaced about the Ayew brothers hanging up their boots on the international front, as per Ghanasoccernet.
Fiifi Tackie, who is the family's spokesperson, says the captain and his younger brother are still keen on representing the Black Stars.
"Andrè and Jordan Ayew are still very committed to the Black Stars team as they have always been. They will keep donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana and give the team their very best on and off the pitch, as always. We just got off the phone," Tackie tweeted," as per Ghanasoccernet.
