Asamoah Gyan, who was once the highest-paid player from the continent, has completed a big-money return to his home country.

The 34-year-old was officially unveiled by Legon Cities FC over the weekend after joining the Ghanaian top-flight side on a free transfer.
He had been a without a club before his sensational homecoming after leaving Indian Super League side NorthEast United in January.
"Here we go. I'm back home to continue my career with Legon Cities FC," Gyan said via his official Twitter account.
"I'm happy to join this club because they have a future plan for Ghana football. Don't blink when the season starts. Follow my new club for every detail of the club. Thanks for your support."

Ghana's all-time record goalscorer with 51 strikes in 109 appearances put pen to paper on a four-year deal that will see him earn $1 million (R16 million) over the next four years, according to Kick Off.
Gyan was Africa's highest-paid footballer back in 2015 after he joined Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG, where he was believed to earn £237 000 (R5 million) a week.

He has returned to his home country for the first time since leaving Liberty Professionals as a 17-year-old in 2003.
