Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has come in for some more heavy criticism by a club legend after dropping points a third straight game.
The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw by Ceramica Cleopatra on Saturday night, with Mohamed Magdy's late penalty rescuing a point for the African champions.
With Zamalek winning on Sunday, Mosimane's charges now sit eight points behind the defending champions although they have played three games less.
Former Al Ahly star Taha Ismail claims the club need to take a stand with the number of 'problems' in the team.
“Al Ahly need to take a stand, there are many problems, not just wasting chances,” Taha told ONTime Sports.
“The team is suffering on the physical level, the build-up is extremely slow, and the counterattacks are very slow as well.
“The performance is disappointing and it doesn’t show the club’s spirit.”
