After Pitso Mosimane suggested that players in his Al Ahly dressing room are leaking information to the press, a first-team star has seemingly responded to the accusation.
This past weekend, the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns boss said that he believes players in his squad could be giving important information out to the media.
Mosimane's comments came following the Red Devils' 1-0 win over Bank Al Ahly on Sunday, a game Mahmoud Kahraba missed out on.
Following the speculation that arose due to the South African manager's remarks, Kahraba has now insisted he has not leaked any information out to the press.
"Regarding journalists speaking for me, I didn't give any statements to anyone, and if I want to say something I will say it myself," he said, according to King Fut.
"I have not given a statement to anyone, and I will not give any in the future. Whoever claims I gave out information may confront me, that never happened and never will.
"What I am asking of journalists is not to speak for me, I have no friends or relatives that are journalists, and I give no information about my football life to anybody.
"I am asking my fans not to believe what's being said. Please listen to only what I say myself."
Kahraba has made 62 appearances for the club since his arrival in January 2020, contributing to 26 goals across all competitions.
