With Pitso Mosimane's side having dropped points for a fourth consecutive Egyptian Premier League game on Wednesday night, Al Ahly are now on their worst run in eight years.
Al Ahly Respond To CAF Decision With Six Requests
Following their goalless draw against Bank El Ahly on Wednesday, Mosimane's men have now gone four matches without a win in Egypt's top division.
At the end of April, the Red Devils drew 1-1 with Cleopatra in a league clash, a result that came after a stalemate with El Gaish and a 1-0 defeat to El Masry.
According to Transfermarkt, this is the first time the most successful club in African football has gone on a four-match winless streak in the Egyptian Premier League since the 2014/15 campaign.
In that season, Al Ahly finished second behind rivals Zamalek in the table after they were unable to recover from a torrid start to the season that saw them fail to register a win in five consecutive league games.
That particular struggling run consisted of meetings against Wadi Degla, El Ittihad, El Raja, Ismaily and Alassiouty SC.
