Ivory Coast went down 1-0 against Uganda in their Africa Cup of Nations warm-up match at the Sheikh Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi on Saturday afternoon.
Farouk Miya scored the only goal of the match for the Cranes with ten minutes remaining of the first stanza, while Mamelodi Sundowns shot-stopper Denis Onyango completed the entire match for the Cranes.
Côte d’Ivoire were playing their second warm-up match ahead of the tournament in Egypt after they flexed their muscles with a 3-1 victory over Comoros last week on Friday.
The Elephants will play their last warm-up friendly match against Zambia on Wednesday at their base in Abu Dhabi before opening their campaign against South Africa on 24 June in Group D.
Meanwhile, the Cranes were playing their last friendly match before the tournament proper in Egypt, as they used the recently completed COSAFA Cup invitation to prepare for the continental showpiece.
They are drawn in Group A alongside hosts Egypt, Democratic Republic Of Congo and Zimbabwe.
Kenya 1-1 Democratic Republic Of Congo
Kenya and Democratic Republic Of Congo completed their warm-up friendly series ahead of the AFCON with a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening at Polideportivo Santa Ana in Madrid.
Michael Olunga opened the scoring for the Harambee Stars in the 25th minute but the East African side could not clinch their second consecutive friendly victory after Arthur Masuaku netted with three minutes remaining to salvage a draw for Congo.
The Harambee Star will open their campaign against Algeria in Group C on 23 June, while Congo begin their campaign against Uganda in Group A on 22 June.
