Egypt superstar Mohamed Salah reportedly arrived in Kenya this week with four bodyguards after a request from the Egyptian Football Association.
The Liverpool forward is set to take part in his country's upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers over the next few days, with Egypt going up against Kenya on Thursday evening.
Upon his arrival in Nairobi, Salah was spotted with four bodyguards at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, who reportedly enforced distance between the winger and fans.
According to Goal, the four men, all wearing black suits, were assigned to the 28-year-old via the Egyptian embassy in Kenya.
It is claimed that only the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League winner was handed private security after it was requested by the Egyptian Football Association.
The Pharaohs are currently leading Group G and will need just one point from their two upcoming fixtures to book their place at the finals in Cameroon next year.
