Bafana's Group C Rivals Ghana Lose To Sudan

Sudan 1-0 Ghana

Ghana will have to wait a bit longer to seal their ticket to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations after losing 1-0 to Sudan on Tuesday afternoon.

The Black Stars needed a win to qualify for Afcon, but they will now wait till their next Group C clash to secure a spot at the tournament after Sudan strike late in the second half to secure the win.

As a result, Ghana remain top of the group, level on points with Bafana Bafana while Sudan sit in third followed by the winless Sao Tome and Principe.

Madagascar 1-1 Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast missed the chance to move top of Group K after dropping points at leaders Madagascar.

AC Milan's Franck Kessie gave the Elephants the opening goal from the penalty spot in the 15th minute.

However, Ibrahim Samuel Amada restored parity for Madagascar in the 51st minute, which proved to be the goal to secure a point.

Rwanda 0-0 Cape Verde

Cape Verde and Rwanda both remain winless in Group F after playing to a goalless draw on Tuesday afternoon.

While there were no goals on the day, the hosts finished the game with 10 men after Ally Niyonzima's sending off in the first half.

As a result, Cape Verde sit third in the group while Rwanda remain rooted to the bottom.

Lesotho 0-0 Benin

Benin will have to wait to secure qualification for Afcon after failing to beat Lesotho on Tuesday afternoon.

Due to this draw, Nigeria can secure qualification if they beat Sierra Leone on Tuesday night.
