Egypt will face Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations final after defeating hosts Cameroon in a penalty shoot-out on Thursday night.

The Indomitable Lions retained the same side that beat Gambia in the quarter-finals, with Karl Toko Ekambi and Nicolas Ngamaleu flanking Vincent Aboubakar upfront, while the Pharaohs recalled Hamdi Fathi and Mahmoud Hamdi.
Cameroon were setting up the pace of the game in the opening exchanges and Michael Ngadeu came close to giving them the lead in the 19th minute with a towering header in the box that came off the post.
Toko Ekambi had a chance to break the deadlock for Toni Conceicao's charges just after the half-hour mark after receiving a pass with space in the box but his curling strike was saved by goalkeeper Abou Gabal.
Carlos Queiroz's men were growing in the game in the closing phase of the first stanza, with threatening counter-attacks but talisman Mohamed Salah was tightly marked and the sides went to the half-time break deadlocked.
Queiroz made an attacking change at half-time, as Trezeguet came on for Amr El Solia and Egypt were taking the game to Cameroon after that and Salah had a big chance 11 minutes into the second stanza after intercepting a back pass by Martin Hongla to go through on goal but he was quickly closed down by goalkeeper Andre Onana.
However, the Indomitable Lions got back into the game after the hour-mark and Toko Ekambi came close to breaking the deadlock 22 minutes before time with a flicked header at the near post that was saved by Gabal on the line.
The game on the edge in the latter stages and Cameroon made a change ten minutes before time, as James Siliki replaced Samuel Gouet for fresh legs in midfield.
Egypt were without a coach on the bench in the dying minutes after Queiroz was sent in a heated touchline exchange with the officials, joining his assistant Roger de Sa in the stands and the sides eventually went to extra-time.
Both sides were throwing caution to the wind and Salah had the best chance for the Pharaohs in the ninth minute of extra-time after receiving a pass on the edge of the box but his low curling shot missed narrowly wide.
Egypt almost stole it at the death after Ramadan Sobhi beat his marker to go through on goal at the near post but his cut-back evaded a couple of his teammates, forcing the clash into penalties where the North African side triumphed thanks to heroics by Gabal, who saved two spot-kicks.
