Africa Cup of Nations champions Cameroon began their qualifying campaign with a 1-0 win over Morocco on Saturday evening.
 
The game's only goal arrived after 28 minutes courtesy of a strike from Vincent Aboubakar.
 
Ivory Coast 2-3 Guinea
 
Seydou Doumbia handed the hosts the lead after 14 minutes, before Sadio Diallo leveled matters in the 32nd minutes.
 
Doumbia restored Ivory Coast's lead in the 62nd minute, before Guinea hit back through Francois Kamono and Naby Keita.
 
Mali 2-1 Gabon
 
Mali began their campaign with a win as they came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Gabon on Saturday evening.
 
Denis Bouanga handed Gabon the lead after just three minutes, however the home side hit back through Kalifa Coulibaly and Yves Bissouma in the second half.
 
DR Congo 3-1 Congo
 
Democratic Republic of Congo proved too strong for Congo, as they ran out 3-1 winners in their opening Afcon qualifier.
 
Villarreal star, Cedric Bakambu bagged a brace while Chancel Mbemba was also target for the home side.
