Two More Nations Qualify For AFCON

Uganda 1-0 Cape Verde

Uganda qualified for next year's Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Cape Verde 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
 
Patrick Kaddu registered the game's only goal with 12 minutes remaining to seal victory and qualification.
 
Uganda's Denis Onyango is also yet to concede in this Afcon qualifying campaign.
 
Gabon 0-1 Mali
 
Mali became the next nation qualify for the tournament after they defeated Gabon 1-0 on Saturday evening.
 
Moussa Doumbia's 11th minute strike was enough to seal the win and a spot in Cameroon next year.
 
Namibia 0-0 Guinea-Bissau
 
Guinea-Bissau maintained top spot in Group K after playing to a goalless draw with second-place Namibia.

Equatorial Guinea 0-1 Senegal
 
Senegal, who have already qualified for next year's showpiece, moved top of Group A after defeating Equatorial Guinea 1-0.
 
The game's only goal arrived after 78 minutes courtesy of an own goal from Guinea's Mese.
 
Gambia 3-1 Benin
 
Gambia boosted their slim hopes of qualification with  a 3-1 win over Benin, although they remain bottom of Group of D.
 
Huddersfield Town striker Steve Mounie put the visitors ahead after 34 minutes.
 
However, the hosts hit back through Lamin Jallow and Modou Jobe in the final 15 minutes of the second half before bagging a third deep in stoppage time.

Comoros 2-1 Malawi

Goals from El Fardou Ben and Nasser Chamed guided Comoros to a 2-1 win over Malawi in the first encounter on Saturday.
