Joachim Low's young Germany side lifted the title for the first time in the country's rich football history after beating Chile 1-0 in the final.
As a consequence, it is not surprising to see many German faces in the Team of the Tournament, which lines up in a 4-4-2 formation.
Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who won the Golden Glove for the best shot-stopper in the competition, was selected in goal.
Germany fullbacks Joshua Kimmich and Jonas Hector feature in the back four, along with centre-back pairing Gary Medel (Chile) and Bruno Alves (Portugal).
Chile's Arturo Vidal and Germany's Leon Goretzka were named as the central midfield duo, while Lars Stindl and Julian Draxler were selected on the flanks, with the latter being chosen ahead of Chile's Sanchez.
The Arsenal winger was named the winner of the Silver Ball for the second best player at the tournament, but with Draxler winning the Golden Ball and featuring in the same position, there was no space for both players.
