The Spaniard and Manchester City lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend, a prestigious win that saw Mauricio Pochettino enter an illustrious club of Guardiola's rivals.

Overall, the Argentine has played Guardiola 10 times, winning his only contest as Spurs coach, while beating Pep just once as manager of Espanyol, losing five times and drawing thrice.
Other managers who have beaten Guardiola at least twice include Markus Weinzierl (two wins, five defeats), Manuel Pellegrini (two wins, one draw, eight defeats), Dieter Hecking (two wins, six defeats) and Arsene Wenger (two wins, two draws, four defeats).

His longstanding rival Mourinho has managed to beat him three times, while drawing five and losing nine contests, while Klopp beat the City boss on four occasions, losing the other four match-ups with the former Bayern coach.
