Three more young players from Farouk Khan’s Stars of Africa academy have signed for Portuguese club, Tourizense.
The Siya crew reported recently that defender, Thamsanqa Ngobeza, had put pen-to-paper with the third-tier side, and has since been joined by three more talented young South Africans.
Pule Maraisane, an Amajita regular, as well as Tshepo Matsemela and Thibang Phete, have all signed for the club and have already made their debuts in the Campeonato Nacional.
Maraisane, a 19-year-old winger, even scored on his debut for the club as they won 2-0 against Oliveira do Hospital, getting his career in Portugal off to a good start.
Defensive midfielder, Phete, 20, and striker, Matsemela, 19, also played in the game as Tourizense moved up to fifth place on the log.
Meanwhile, another Amajita player, 18-year-old Tlotlo Leepile, is also currently in Portugal, though is only with Tourizense’s youth squad at present due to his age.
