Chibuike, 21, has won over the Savon Sanomat Areena faithful with his pace, intelligent moves and sultry skills.
“As a striker I want to score more goals for my club and win the Goal King award. I pray to be always fit,” Chibuike told SL10.
The young forward was born on 7th June 1993 in the ‘football factory’ of Ajegunle. The neighbourhood had produced the likes of Tarila Okorowanta, Samson Siasia, Stephen Keshi and so on.
His club history started with Young Stars FC between 2004-2009 from where he went on to FC Ebedei between 2009 and 2011. Then, he moved on to FC Midtjylland during the 2011 to 2013 seasons. Due to contractual differences with the club, he had to back out of the club and returned to his roots with the Young Stars, from where he joined KuPS some weeks ago.
