Crytek have announced a big acquisition to the team to work on the next chapter of Crysis.
The renowned series will now have Hitman 3 game director, Mattias Engstrom, at the helm for Crysis 4.
Engstrom has worked on a number of major titles including Hitman 3, Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed Revelations.
"We are happy to announce that Mattias Engström, known for his work as Game Director for Hitman 3 at IO Interactive, joins the Crysis family as Game Director for the 4th instalment in the Crysis franchise, starting this week," read the announcement on the game's official Twitter account.

Along with announcing the director for the game, Crytek also revealed that they have a number of new roles available on the game, including level designers, game designers and art directors.
The next instalment of Crysis was announced at the start of this year, and the game is renowned for it's unbelievable visuals which were often used as the benchmark to see how powerful a gaming PC was.
While fans of the series wait for more on the new title, you can always revisit the original Crysis games, which have been remastered for new consoles.
