The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has confirmed receiving a bus from the South African Football Association (SAFA) as a gift.

According FAZ, the bus has been donated to them by their South African counterparts as a gesture of goodwill to assist in the growth of football.
“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has received a bus from the South African Football Association (Safa) as a gesture of goodwill by the hosts of 2010 Fifa World Cup in helping the growth of the game of football.
“The bus was used to transport teams during the first ever senior men's Fifa World Cup tournament to be hosted in Africa.
“The bus arrived in Zambia on 7th May, 2016 and is currently parked at Football House in Lusaka,” FAZ confirmed on their official website.
Contacted for comment, SAFA confirmed that as part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Legacy, the busses were donated as a gesture of goodwill to the members of the COSAFA region.

SAFA's Dominic Chimhavi confirmed to the Siya crew that there were a total of 52 buses and that the ones that were not donated to the members of the COSAFA region have been sold to local dealerships.
