Thabo Rakhale has reiterated how honoured he is to be playing for Orlando Pirates.
Jomo, as the player is known in football circles, is expected to play a pivotal role in trying to help Bucs in their attempt to win a trophy this season with the Nedbank Cup.
In an interview with orlandopiratesmagazine.com, the skilful player has also spoken about being compared to his Sebokeng homeboy, and former Pirates player himself, Steve Lekoelea.
“It’s an honour for me to play. It’s a dream come true. I grew up supporting Orlando Pirates. As we all know, Steve was playing for Pirates. Here I am today, I’m regarded as his one of his successors,” Rakhale told orlandopiratesmagazine.com.
Rakhale is expected to be in Eric Tinkler’s travelling 18-man match day squad for their Nedbank Cup last 16 game with Jomo Cosmos at Olen Park Stadium on Sunday.
