Word reaching the Siya crew is that SuperSport United have bagged yet another Australasian player in Isaka Aongor Cernak Okanya.
The Oceania region has proved a happy hunting ground for Matsatsantsa a Pitori following the acquisition of New Zealand born striker Jeremy Brockie in December last year.
Now news emanating from the Tshwane club is that they have signed attacking midfielder Cernak who was formerly with Central Coast Mariners on a three-year deal.
The 26-year old attacker has made 18 league appearances and 12 starts for Mariners this season. He has also been a member of the Australian U20 National team where he has 19 international caps and five goals as well as the Australian U23 National where he has six caps.
Okanya's signing come on the backdrop of United having acquired yet another New Zealand international in 26-year old central defender, Michael Joseph Boxall who was with semi-professional side, Wellington Phoenix FC Reserves.
Matsatsantsa are looking at refreshing their attacking options ahead of the new season as the club failed to secure a deal with winger Daine Klate.
