Chiefs Midfielder Confirms Local Interest

Outgoing Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siyabonga Nkosi has confirmed that there is interest from a few PSL clubs who are vying for his services.

Nkosi will see his contract come to an end this month, with the club already having opted against renewing his stay.

Now following a successful second spell at Naturena where he helped the Amakhosi to two PSL titles, a Nedbank Cup and the MTN8 trophy, the former Golden Arrows anchor-man will be in search of game time elsewhere.

Speaking to the Siya crew, the Newcastle-born veteran midfielder confirmed that he has been in contact with several PSL teams, with the view off adding value to their roster ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.

The former SuperSport United playmaker says that there are Absa Premiership clubs who are after his signature, but is not at liberty to disclose identities at this stage until talks are finalised.

"Yes, it's true I am talking to some teams but I can't say which teams because nothing has been finalised yet. But you should expect to see me playing in the PSL again next season," the KZN-born midfielder concluded.
