Diyo Sibisi is hopeful of reviving his career at Bloemfontein Celtic, aiming to secure himself a PSL contract.
The former Free State Stars, Mamelodi Sundowns and Mpumalanga Black Aces marksman has been training with Phunya Sele Sele since last week Monday and believes that he has been doing well, although the club is yet to offer him a deal.
The other players on trial are Thembinkosi Fanteni, Letsie Koapeng and Sifiso Vilakazi. The 31-year-old Sibisi was considered one as of the most lethal strikers in the PSL while on the books of Ea Lla Koto and will be looking to rekindle his old form if signed.
He said, “I’m just training for now and I’m waiting on the coach to make a decision. Nothing has been communicated to me at this stage, but my fitness is okay and I’ve been enjoying it.
"Last Wednesday we played a friendly against a local Vodacom League team and on Saturday we played against a team from Lesotho. It was a good run for me and the other guys on trial.”
