SuperSport United and Wits are the PSL’s most badly behaved teams this season having received six red cards each in the league alone.
Gavin Hunt’s Wits have been given three straight reds this season, with another three sendings off coming after players were given a second yellow.
Meanwhile, SuperSport have been given five red cards for a second bookable offence, and one straight red for dangerous play.
In Hunt’s team, Koffi Dan Kowa (x2), Onismor Bhasera, Denver Mukamba, Calvin Kadi and Tebogo Moerane have all been given their marching orders at different points this season. They also had Keamogetse Wolff sent off in an MTN8 game.
Cavin Johnson has seen his team decreased to 10-men on the same amount of occasions, with Enocent Mkhabela (x2), Thabo September, Sameehg Doutie, Aupa Moeketsi and Bevan Fransman all being told to go for an early shower at some point.
On top of that, Edwin Gyimah and Sibusiso Khumalo were sent off for Matsatsantsa in cup competition this season.
Top of the yellow cards list is Maritzburg United with 60 bookings, closely followed by Polokwane City with 57.
The most well-behaved team in the league is Orlando Pirates, who have been shown no red cards throughout the course of this PSL season, receiving just 30 yellow cards.
