According to reports, the incident took place following Sundowns’ 3-3 draw against AmaZulu FC at the King Zwelithini Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.
Indications are that a case of assault has been opened by the security official.
Siya sources have since confirmed to the crew that the reports are indeed true, however, the matter is being dealt with.
“The reports are very true but Sundowns and the coach’s legal team are trying to fix the matter,” the source told Soccer Laduma.
Indications are that Masandawana could look to release an official statement on the matter in the coming days, although the Brazilians will lock horns with Golden Arrows tomorrow, September 19 and it remains to be seen whether Mosimane will be present on the bench.
