Bheki Nzunga has been signed by the third tier outfit as he seeks to revive his career. The 31-year-old played for Baberwa in their Gauteng ABC Motsepe League Nedbank Cup qualifying match on Saturday.
A penalty kick by Nzunga was saved and resulted in Baberwa's exit from the competition. Nzunga was on the books of Bucs' first team between 2011 and 2014 before being transferred to Chippa United. He has previously also been on the books of FC Cape Town and Alexandra Black Aces during his career.
Meanwhile, Nzunga has been joined at the third tier club by former Pirates youngster Linda Shiba. Baberwa have also added to their roster the former Kaizer Chiefs duo, Mthokozisi Yende and Lucky Khune.
