News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo has been locked in a meeting with the club in what is believed to be discussions about his future at the club.
‘Bibo’, as Ntshumayelo is known in football circles, is expected to leave Pirates after a disappointing 2015/16 Absa Premiership campaign.
The 26-year-old made only seven league starts for Bucs under their former coach, Eric Tinkler, last season. Following the changes that have taken place at Bucs, with the club having brought in new players for different positions, Ntshumayelo and some of the players from last season’s roster could make way for new signings under Muhsin Ertugral and his technical team.
“Thandani Ntshumayelo has been in a meeting with Pirates. It sounds like he could be on his way out of the club,” a source told the Siya crew.
The Buccaneers are currently in Potchefstroom for their pre-season training under Ertugral and his new-look technical team.
According to sources, Ntshumayelo is one of the players that did not make the trip to the North West, with his future at the club in doubt.
