Prime Football Club strengthened their push for promotion to the Globacom Premier League and kept Go Round strapped in Nigeria National League relegation zone with a 1-0 home victory on Saturday.

Prime started the match as the better team as they settled into the game with decency and won a good percentage of possession as they pressed hard in the midfield and attacked except scoring a goal.
Go Round goalkeeper Salami Yakubu, was the busiest of the two stoppers and had to show making some excellent saves.
Mojeed Yusuf and Chidiebere Ajoku hit the woodwork twice in the match.
Ifeanyi Emmanuel missed a 78 minutes penalty to double his team's lead. After missing the spot kick he was denied by the impressive Go Round goaltender.
Go Rounds tactical moves to pull a goal back was curtailed by the disciplined Prime defence line.
Speaking after the match, chief coach of Go Round, David Ngodigha, commended the two sides for playing top quality football, he also eulogized the officiating officials.
Prime will next weekend travel to Benin to be guest to Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
