Having returned for Pirates in their Nedbank Cup last 16 against Jomo Cosmos earlier this month, Ntshumayelo missed the league games against Free State Stars and Arrows respectively.
But with Masalesa having received his third red card of the season, and likely to miss four games as a punishment for his actions, Eric Tinkler and his technical team are expected to make changes in the central midfield position.
The Buccaneers have been scheduled to travel to Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup in their next game.
Depending on his fitness and availability, Ntshumayelo could be the man to partner Issa Sarr in central midfield for Bucs as the side will be attempting to advance to the next stage in their attempt to win a trophy this season.
