The Sporting Director of Malmo FF says that the club has no intention of selling their South African striker, Tokelo Rantie.
It was revealed by the Siya crew yesterday that English Championship side AFC Bournemouth had put in a bid of around €300 000 (+/-R4 million) for the burly forward, although it is believed that the bid has been rejected.

The crew spoke to Malmo’s Sporting Director, Per Agren, who, while he wouldn’t confirm nor deny the bid from The Cherries, insisted that the club will not be selling the 22-year-old.
Agren explained, “We are in the middle of the season and we’re having no thoughts about doing anything with Tokelo right now. We see him as a valuable member of the squad and we don’t plan to let him go.”
It is believed that Rantie, who has scored seven goals for Malmo so far this season, is extremely happy playing in the Allsvenskan at present and is not seeking a move elsewhere, and it seems that it would take a much-improved offer from Bournemouth for his current club to even consider letting him leave.
Rantie will be part of Malmo’s squad when they host English Premier League side Swansea City in the Europa League on Thursday night and it remains to be seen whether Bournemouth will come back with an improved bid.
