As predicted by the Siya crew earlier today, former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mbulelo ‘OJ’ Mabizela has joined Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Earlier today the crew reported that Mabizela was on the verge of signing for AmaZayoni and now the club has confirmed that the former Bafana Bafana defender has indeed signed.

In a statement posted on the club’s official website, Aces said that Mabizela has signed a deal that will see him with AmaZayoni until the end of the current campaign.
Speaking to the club’s official website shortly after a practice friendly match against Cosmos, the 33 year-old said he was very happy to have joined Aces.
"Obviously I’m happy to have joined Black Aces, they have a professional set up here, great facilities and every player will be excited joining a team of this calibre," said Mabizela.
"I’m just here to do my job, which is playing football to the best of my abilities. I’ve played for lots of clubs in my career before joining Aces and I know what is expected from a professional player,” added Mabizela.
"I just want to continue with my professional career and keep working hard at training to make sure I help the team in its objectives. I still have a lot to offer and it will show during my stay here at AmaZayoni. We have a great squad here, especially the defenders and that will certainly push me to work even extra hard to earn a starting berth in the team," concluded the former Chippa United defender.
