Following Kostadin Papic’s departure from Polokwane City, the Siya crew has been investigating on what led to the former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs coach leaving the Limpopo outfit.
In the latest issue of Soccer Laduma which came out today, the Siya crew revealed that in the weeks leading up to Papic’s departure from the club, it was understood that relations between the coach and the club’s chairman, Johnny Mogaladi, had soured.
It is believed that the Serbian had been unhappy with alleged interference from the club’s management on team selection.
While Siya sources close to the club’s dealings revealed the information to the Siya crew on what transpired, Coach Papic did not divulge any information.
The coach made it clear that he did not want to discuss his exit with the media, and in the public space, since parting ways with the club.
