Former Orlando Pirates winger Khethokwakhe Masuku is eyeing a quick comeback to the PSL with his current club Royal Eagles.
The 30-year-old, who parted ways with Pirates at the end of last season, has been enjoying his football again with a new lease of life at the KZN-based NFD side.
Masuku scored two goals for Eagles when they defeated Witbank Spurs 3-0 last weekend. The player’s agent, Abbie Rasimphi of Liberate Resources Sports Management, confirmed to the Siya crew that Masuku is planning to return to the PSL.
“Khethokwakhe Masuku is happy at the club and enjoying his football. He scored two goals for Royal Eagles in last weekend’s game. He wants to help Eagles to get promotion to the PSL. He is planning to return to the PSL with Eagles,” said Rasimphi.
So far this season, Masuku and his teammates have helped Eagles to 5th place on the NFD log after 10 games.
