Bivest Wits have put pen to paper with 25-year-old midfielder Keaghan Jacobs. The club as officially announced his signing.
Jacobs, who has been playing in Scotland with Livingston FC, has been on trial with The Students and it seems as though he has done enough to impress head coach Gavin Hunt and his technical team.
Wits confirmed the news on their official Twitter account. “It's official: Keaghan Jacobs is the newest Clever Boy!”, read the tweet.
The 25-year-old has spent his entire professional career playing for Livingston FC. He made his first team debut for the club in 2007 and played a key role in helping The Lions win back to back Third and Second division championships, securing their rise to the Scottish First Division.
The Johannesburg-born midfielder was keen to move back home and has secured a move to the Braamfontein-based outfit after impressing on trial at the club.
Wits snapped up the midfielder on a free contract after his deal with the Scottish side expired at the end of last season.
