Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they have parted ways with one of their senior strikers.
The AmaKhosi have parted ways with Edward Manqele by mutual agreement, the club confirmed on Wednesday evening.
“Manqele was transfer listed at the end of last season but was not signed,” Football Manager Bobby Motaung told the club's official website.
“After speaking we agreed it was best to release him so he can find a new home and continue his football career.”
Manqele joined Kaizer Chiefs in August 2015, and has gone on to make 23 appearances for the Soweto giants.
