Kaizer Chiefs have set a new domestic record by winning fifteen matches in a row in all competitions.
The Amakhosi beat Ajax Cape Town 1-0 on Sunday at the Cape Town Stadium, to move one ahead of the previous record set by Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2006/2007 season.
It was also their eleventh clean sheet from thirteen matches played this season (Two of their fifteen wins were at the end of last season).
On Wednesday Chiefs play Moroka Swallows and if they are victorious, they will equal Sundowns' eleven league match-winning streak.
Their next league game after that will be against Orlando Pirates, and victory in the Soweto derby would set a new league record.
The Amakhosi are also now nine wins away from the world record of 24 straight wins in all competitions, held by Brazilian club Coritiba.
