The Urban Warriors now face Mpumalanga Black Aces at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, March 11, in an effort to keep their winning momentum. AmaZayoni have shown inconsistent form of late and are still winless in 2015. Clive Barker’s team were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom dwellers AmaZulu this past weekend after they let slip of a 1-0 lead in the last 10 minutes. The last time these two sides met, Clive Barker’s team came away with all the three points at Mbombela Stadium with 1-0 scoreline victory. However, it was the Urban Warriors who had the last laugh as they were in formidable form to knock Barker’s men out of the Telkom Knockout Cup with a 3-0 scoreline.

AJAX CAPE TOWN V BLACK ACES
League position: Ajax 5th and Aces 12th
Useful facts: Ajax have enjoyed a decent start to 2015, although a top eight finish isn’t perhaps guaranteed quite yet. Roger de Sa’s men still have work to do to finish the season on a high. Meanwhile, Black Aces have lost three and drawn two of their last five matches played. Clive Barker will no doubt be feeling the pressure as he takes his team to the Mother City. Ajax should be slight favourites in this clash.
Mark Haskins: I’ll go with an Ajax win. They’re doing well.
BLOEMFONTEIN CELTIC V SUPERSPORT UNITED
League position: Celtic 6th and United 9th
Useful facts: Siwelele are a rejuvenated force under Clinton Larsen and the side are playing with smiles on their faces. The loyal Celtic faithful must be enjoying what has been a good run so far. SuperSport, whose form has deteriorated in recent weeks, will likely be underdogs in this PSL contest. However, Gordon Igesund will be no doubt be demanding a response.
Mark Haskins: Celtic home win.
MAMELODI SUNDOWNS V POLOKWANE CITY
League position: Downs 2nd and City 8th
Useful facts: In what could be an attractive contest in which both teams will likely open up and play expansive football, the Brazilians host Kosta Papic’s impressive City side at home. Downs will likely be the favourites, although Rise and Shine do create a lot of chances. This could be the game of the day in the Absa Premiership.
Mark Haskins: Sundowns win.
MARITZBURG UNITED V KAIZER CHIEFS
League position: United 10th and Chiefs 1st
Useful facts: United are struggling badly in 2015 and Steve Komphela is undoubtedly feeling the heat. The Team of Choice aren’t entirely out of relegation trouble and tension will be rising in the United dressing room. It will be a big ask for the club to take on and beat Stuart Baxter’s rumbling Kaizer Chiefs machine. Expect the Glamour Boys to be favourites in this clash.
Mark Haskins: Draw.
UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA V PLATINUM STARS
League position: Tuks 7th and Stars 14th
Useful facts: Tuks have been looking as solid as a rock in recent matches and for this Sammy Troughton deserves a lot of credit. Tuks are undefeated in their last five matches played as well. This means struggling Stars are expected to be under pressure in this contest in Pretoria. A draw might be a good result for Dinaledi.
Mark Haskins: Stars away win.
