Bafana Bafana midfielder Dean Furman was named Man of the Match after his composed display in their 4-1 win over Botswana in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
The Doncaster Rovers midfielder was constantly involved throughout the match and bagged his first international goal by firing in off the inside of the posts on the stroke of half-time.
Furman admits that they were delighted to have done the job against the Zebras, but admits that they were highly disappointed at the same time after Ethiopia's win away to CAR resulted in their World Cup dreams coming to an end.
"It was very pleasing how we played, everybody was on their game today. We knew we had to come and do a job no matter what went on elsewhere, and I think every man did his job to perfection," said the midfielder.
"Apart from a little wobble for about 10 minutes when they got their goal, everyone performed brilliantly and we are delighted with the win.
"It's a bit bittersweet though because Ethiopia won (to finish top of Group A)."
