Mamelodi Sundowns’ medical team is expected to give an update on their injured players ahead of the Telkom Knockout game against Bloemfontein Celtic on the weekend.
The Brazilians have been without a number of players in the opening rounds of the 2013/14 PSL campaign, due to injuries.
“Look, we need to get information from the doctors. They are the ones who can tell what is happening. I can’t say whether the players are fine or not,” a source at the club revealed.
Anthony Laffor, Thamsanqa Sangweni, Tiyani Mabunda, Rodney Ramagalela, Thela Ngobeni, Glenn Verbauwhede and Mukuka Mulenga are some of the players that have had problems with injuries this season.
Sundowns are preparing for an away game against Celtic in the Telkom Knockout on Sunday. The two teams will be playing against each other for the second time this season.
Sundowns emerged as 3-1 winners in the first league game of the season for the two sides.
