Having started the season playing under Malesela at Stars, Mdlinzo has made notable improvement with his performances at the NFD outfit this season.

It’s believed that Malesela has been impressed by the midfielder and that the Port Elizabeth team is already working on a possible move to secure the player for next season.

The Chilli Boys, who have already signed Zephaniah Mbokoma from the Mother City outfit since Malesela’s arrival at the Eastern Cape club, are likely to finalise the deal for Mdlinzo after their last game of the season against Kaizer Chiefs.

“With the team (Cape Town All Stars) having failed in their quest to win promotion to the PSL, the player (Mdlinzo) needs a change in his career in preparation for next season. He is likely to play in the PSL next season,” said the source.

The 24-year-old's contract with Igugu Lekapa will be expiring in June. According to the Siya crew source, Chippa is waiting for the player to finish the season before finalising a deal with him.
