Amajimbos came from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Mali in their second U17 African Youth Championship clash on Thursday afternoon.
Molefi Ntseki's side went in search of the opener in the early exchanges, but Khanyiso Mayo failed to take advantage of his opportunity in the seventh minute.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 18th minute courtesy of a free-kick from Sidiki Maiga.
Amajimbos continued to push for the equaliser in the first half but their best chance saw Notha Ngcobo fire an effort from distance straight to the Mali goalkeeper just before the halftime break.
The Mali side extended their lead after the hour mark thanks to a finish from Boubakar Traore.
However, Amajimbos pulled a goal back in the 74th minute, as Luvuyo Mkatshana slotted home after a goal-mouth scramble.
And with 10 minutes left on the clock Katlego Mohamme popped up with the equaliser to clinch a point for Amajimbos.
