Having played 90 minutes for Kaiser Chiefs in a friendly yesterday, the on trial Ugandan defender, Ivan Bukenya, is said to be doing well at the club.
The 21-year-old defender, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, began his trial at Naturena earlier this month and Stuart Baxter is currently running the rule over him before making a decision whether to sign him or not.

Bukenya played at centre-back for the whole of Chiefs’ 6-0 win over Moroka Swallows at FNB Stadium yesterday. The Siya crew have been informed that he put in a solid performance for the Amakhosi.
Kingston Nkhatha got a brace for Chiefs while Matthew Rusike scored one, claiming three assists, and Lehlohonolo Majoro, George Lebese and Kaizer Motaung Junior got the others.
With Bukenya currently a free agent, there are no restrictions as to when the Glamour Boys need to make a decision on him and Baxter will no doubt want to be 100% sure that he is Chiefs material before giving the club the go ahead to offer him a contract.
