Bloemfontein Celtic have taken one step closer to finding a replacement for Serame Letsaoka, after the Manguang club approached Roger de Sa for the job at the helm.
De Sa recently stepped down as the head coach of Ajax Cape Town, and as the 52-year-old looks to take the next step in his career, Siya sources have revealed that Siwelele have approached the former Bafana Bafana international to take charge of the club’s bench.
The Siya crew previously reported that former Orlando Pirates head coach, Ruud Krol was wanted by the club, however, it seems that De Sa has topped Celtic’s wanted list, and are desperately keen on a head coach to turn their form around this season.
Contacted for comment, De Sa confirmed that Celtic have approached the head coach, though he revealed that he is taking some time off before making any decision about his future.
“That (Bloemfontein Celtic interest) is about right. I am just enjoying my time off at the moment,” De Sa told the Siya crew.
