Baroka FC’s CEO, Morgan Mammila, has issued a strict ‘hands off’ warning to any club wishing to try and sign the club’s tricky midfield man, Tsepo ‘Skhwama’ Matete.
Matete, known for his quick feet and diski style, signed for Baroka back in January after a string of his videos went viral online, and he went on to score on his debut against AmaZulu.
Now, with clubs such as Orlando Pirates believed to have shown an interest in bringing the player on board, Mammila has been quick to shut down any rumours that may be circulating.
Baroka’s CEO told the media, “Skhwama is settled, he scored after two days without training. What more do you want? He belongs to us, with the brand of Baroka, he’s not going anywhere. Whoever has maybe R15m can talk to us.”
‘Skhwama’ has played seven games for Baroka so far – starting once – but has scored just the one goal to date.
