News reaching the Siya crew is that Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Baffour is still in Gauteng, as he plans the next move in his professional career.
Baffour is looking for a new club after he was deemed surplus to requirements by Mamelodi Sundowns.
Soccer-Laduma recently reported that Jomo Cosmos have shown interest in the player, with Black Leopards also monitoring his situation closely.
The Ghanaian is still looking to prove his worth in South Africa, to show what prompted Sundowns to sign him in the first place, when he joined the club at the beginning of last season.
Baffour struggled for game time at Sundowns under both coach Johan Neeskens and Pitso Mosimane.
“Emmanuel Baffour is in Kempton Park at the moment. I’m not sure of his situation at present,” a source close to Baffour revealed.
Baffour’s countryman, Mumuni Abubakar, has joined Black Leopards in the NFD.
