Two Manchester United stars featured in the FIFA 22 Team of the Season despite the club's dismal showing this campaign.
Manchester City and Liverpool dominated the Premier League this campaign, with City crowned eventual winners on a dramatic final day, with Liverpool ending a point behind.
United, meanwhile, had a significant fall from grace and only managed to secure a Europa League spot on the final day thanks to Brighton's win over West Ham, as the Red Devils finished with a 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.
In general, the Team of the Season reflects the title race, but interestingly there was not a single player from Chelsea or Arsenal, who finished third and fifth respectively.
Aside from the players at Liverpool, City and United, there were only two players from any other clubs in the team, which included West Ham United's Declan Rice as well as one Tottenham Hotspur star.
