Sonic is making another return, and we don’t mean on the big screen, but instead, a remaster of the classic games that many people grew.
Sonic Origins, which was already teased in May last year, has received its first trailer which shows off some of the unique changes.
Sonic Origins will include Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3/Knuckles and Sonic CD. All of these classic titles will have new animations, added features and improved resolution.
One of the unique options includes the ability to use Tails or Knuckles in any of the games. There is also an Anniversary Mode which has a full-screen display and infinite lives, which allows you to play at your own pace without any stress.
If you’d prefer to jump into the game as you remember it, you can play the Classic Mode too, which doesn’t change any of the features and gives you the original version.
Sonic Origins is set to launch on 23 June 2022, and will be available on all major platforms, namely Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
